The Darjah Utama Temasek (Order of Temasek) is Singapore's second most important national honour and was instituted in 1962.

There are 3 grades of the Order of Temasek:

Ordinarily, only Singapore citizens could be admitted to the Order, but in special circumstances non-Singapore citizens may also be admitted in an honorary capacity. The Order is conferred by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister. According to the Order of Temasek Rules 1996, the First Class award can only be given to a maximum of 12 people.[1]

Recipients of the Order are entitled to place the post nominals DUT(x) after their names, with (x) being the grade of the Order awarded.
