Darcel Avenue Secondary School is a secondary school in Mississauga, Ontario, located in the Malton area of the city. The school is part of the Peel District School Board. It is named after the street on which it is located and opened in 1971.[1] The school participates in the Peel Community Partners' "Breakfast for Kids" program,[2] participated in the first three A World in Motion challenges,[3] and is the only Canadian school participating in Orion's Quest Mission 3.[4][5] Cathy Morrison, a teacher at Darcel, received the Toronto Raptors Community MVP Award for the month of January 2008.[6]
