Darayya District
Darayya District (Arabic: منطقة داريا) is a district (mantiqah) administratively belonging to Rif Dimashq Governorate, Syria. At the 2004 official census, the district had a population of 260,961.[1] Its administrative centre is the city of Darayya.
Sub-districts
The district of Darayya is divided into three sub-districts or Nāḥiyas (population according to 2004 official census):
- Darayya Nahiyah (ناحية داريا): population 131,501.[2]
- Sahnaya Nahiyah (ناحية صحنايا): population 44,512.[3]
- Al-Hajar al-Aswad Nahiyah (ناحية الحجر الأسود): population 84,948.[4]
