Dar-e-Arqam schools are school in Pakistan with a strong Muslim ethos. It is one of the largest chains of schools in Pakistan.


Department of Quranic Studies

Learning of Nazra Quran is compulsory for all students. Training programs are arranged for Nazra teachers.

Hifz Workshops

Curriculum Development wing arranges Training Workshops for Hifz teachers.

Teachers Training

Teacher training is provided for in service and pre-posting teachers. During summer vacations Dar-e-Arqam organize summer training programme and refresher courses for teachers.

Co-Curricular Activities

Include sports competition, educational trips, quiz programs, debates and competitions on different local, national and international events.

Research and Development (R&D)

There is a Curriculum Development wing.

Dar-e-Arqam School of Islamic Studies arranges free courses for all to understand the “Deen” ensuring no sectarianism.

Liaison with Parents

There is a Parent-Teachers Association (PTA).

Objectives

The aim of the Dar-e-Arqam schools is to provide an academic and Islamic education. Its teaching is in English, and computers are used in all classes. Dar-e-Arqam encourages memorization and Tajwid of the Qur'an (Islamic holy book), and study of the hadith.

Transfer and migration

Dar-e-Arqam Schools have more than 400 branches in more than 150 cities all around the country and transfer between beaches is supported

Competitions

These include Urdu Speech, Debate, Qirat, Naat, Quiz, English and Urdu Essay Writing, Handwriting and Art and Craft competitions.

Sports and games

A sports event is arranged at the end of each year.

Inspection

Inspection teams visit the campuses from time to time.

About Dar-e-Arqam

The first Dar-e-Arqam School was established in Sargodha in 1989; further schools were then opened. As of 2014 the Dar-e-Arqam school is one of the largest-growing school systems with more than 100,000 students and more than 450 branches all over Pakistan.
