Danielle Rose Collins (born December 13, 1993) is a collegiate tennis player at University of Virginia from the United States.

Collins has won one singles title on the ITF tour in her career. On June 11, 2012, she reached her best singles ranking of world no. 553.

In August 2014, Collins earned one of the eight wildcards into the 2014 US Open by virtue of winning the NCAA singles championship, the first woman for the University of Virginia to do so. She also received the ITA All-America recognition, and her 37 singles wins in the 2013–2014 season rank second on UVA's all-time list.[1]

Career summary

As a junior player, Collins participated in a handful of ITF events, winning the singles crown at the Plantation ITF event in Plantation, Florida in May 2011, defeating Allie Kiick in the final with the loss of just two games.

On the senior ITF Women's Circuit, her sole title to date came at the $10,000 tournament in Williamsburg, Virginia on October 9, 2011, where she beat Russia's Nika Kukharchuk in the final.

Collins had been absent from the professional tour since February 2012, playing primarily in national and state-level tournaments, but she received a wildcard to participate in the qualifying draw of the 2014 Connecticut Open. However, she was beaten in round one by Taiwanese former top-50 player Hsieh Su-wei.
