Daniel Tagoe (born on 3 March 1987) is a Ghanaian-Kyrgyz international footballer who plays as an Defensive midfielder for Dordoi Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan. Born in Ghana, he moved to Central Asia in 2007 to playfor Dordoi Bishkek.[2] He is also a member of the Kyrgyzstan national football team.

Career

Club

The Ghanaian born Tagoe started his career in Dordoi Bishkek were he played five seasons and acquired Kyrgyzstani citizenship. In 2009 he won the best Kyrgyzstan Player of the Year award, as the 23 year old was instrumental to Dordoi Bishkek success that season.[3] Other honors Tagoe has collected at Dordoi include three Kyrgyzstani national titles; 2009, 2011 and 2012, and two runner up medals; 2010 and 2013. He has also collected three runner up medals at the AFC Prsedent's Cup to his name; 2008, 2009 and 2010. [2] [4]

International career

Tagoe has three national appearances for Kyrgyzstan so far to his name. He joined fellow Ghanaians David Tetteh and Elijah Ari as well as Cameroonian Claude Maka Kum as African-born players representing Kyrgyzstan on the international stage.
