Dandakhali is a village development committee in Surkhet District in the Bheri Zone of mid-western Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2596 people living in 412 individual households.[1] major villages are sahukhola ,mashalot,aarudanda ,malpa chunpani ,mehelapani ,khelnechaur ,layapokhara totapokhara and keureni.layapokhara is in altitude of 2200 mtr which result snowfall in winter which ultimately lead for tourist attraction . mt sisne(5911m),mt kanjirawa(6800m) and western peak of dhaulagiri mt series .Guraans ,and temperate vegetetation dominates these region.Pine forests also abundants there .
