Dance Dance Revolution Strike (ダンスダンスレボリューションストライク Dansu Dansu Reboryūshon Sutoraiku) is the eleventh home version of Dance Dance Revolution in Japan. It was released on February 16, 2006, for the Sony PlayStation 2 video game system by Konami. It features over 50 songs, most of which derive from other BEMANI franchises that the North American Xbox release, Ultramix 2, used for its music. This mix uses the same engine and looks similar to Extreme 2 US. On the same day, a soundtrack was released by Toshiba-EMI. It features all the songs from Dance Dance Revolution STR!KE and DDR Festival Dance Dance Revolution.
History
Dance Dance Revolution Strike is the nineteenth Dance Dance Revolution game in Asia.[2] It was released in February 16, 2006 by Konami.
Reception
Dance Dance Revolution has mostly positive reviews averaging an 8 out of 10.[3] The game has not changed dramatically over its lifetime, but many DDR games are common in American arcades and are often popular.[4]
