Daniel O'Donoghue (born January 28, 1991) is an American ice hockey player. He is currently under contract with the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League (NHL).
O'Donoghue attended Mercyhurst University where he played four seasons of NCAA Division I hockey with the Mercyhurst Lakers, who competes in the Atlantic Hockey Association (AHA). In his senior year, O'Donoghue's outstanding play was rewarded when he was selected to the 2013–14 Second All-Conference Team and was named the AHA's Top Defensive Forward.[1]
On April 11, 2014, the Phoenix Coyotes of the NHL signed O'Donoghue as an undrafted free agent to a two-year entry-level contract.[2]
