Dan Counsell is the founder and director of Realmac Software, a software developer based in Brighton, England.[1][2][3][4][5] He is a mobile consultant for Apptentive, an in-app feedback tool provider, and writes articles for technology news outlets such as The Next Web.[3][6]

Career

In November 2002, Counsell founded Realmac Software.[7][8][9][10] He founded the company in his spare time and worked evening and weekends learning how to build software.[1] Counsell partnered with Impending Inc., to develop Hatch, a virtual pet app for iOS, in 2012.[3] The following year, Huit Denim listed Counsell on its list of "Makers and Mavericks."[11] Counsell was included on iMore's 2014 Hall of Fame.[12]
