Daniel Allen Campbell (born April 13, 1976) is a former American football tight end and currently a tight ends coach for the Miami Dolphins. He played tight end for four teams in the National Football League. He was drafted by the New York Giants in the third round of the 1999 NFL Draft.

Professional career

New York Giants

He was drafted by the New York Giants in the third round and 79th overall pick of the 1999 NFL Draft and played with the team for four seasons. He played in Super Bowl XXXV.

Dallas Cowboys

He played for the Dallas Cowboys from 2003 to 2005.

Detroit Lions

Campbell played for the Detroit Lions from 2006 to 2008.

New Orleans Saints

In 2009, he signed with the New Orleans Saints and earned his first Super Bowl ring.
