David "Dai" John was a Welsh professional rugby league footballer of the 1910s, playing at representative level for Wales, and at club level for Salford, as a Fullback, i.e. number 1.[1]

Dai John won a cap for Wales while at Salford in 1913.[2]

Rugby Football League Championship final appearances

During Dai John's time a Salford, they defeated Huddersfield 5-3 in the 1913–14 Rugby Football League Championship final.

Club career

Dai John was considered a "Probable" for the 1910 Great Britain Lions tour of Australia and New Zealand, but ultimately he was not selected for the tour.[3]
