Dagadarthi is a village and a Mandal in Nellore district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India.[1]

Agriculture is the predominant occupation, employing 85% of the population. A second industry that employs people from this village is computer software.

Irrigation

The Agriculture lands of the Mandal are irrigated through Kanigiri Reservoir which gets water from Somasila Dam & Reservoir. Water flows through the Kanigiri reservoir northern/turimerala channel and the Kavali canal.

Famous places

Chennuru shivalayam, vuchaguntapalem shiva temple are the monuments in this mandal. Madhaiah Swamy Temple,Narayana Puram is Very Famous Temple. Dagadarthi Poleramma temple became famous in recent times because of the Poleramma festival which is celebrated on second Tuesday in February every year. Sai Baba temple also became famous.
