DZAS (702 AM) is a non-commercial news, public affairs, and entertainment for Mega Manila market. It was owned and operated by Far East Broadcasting Company in the Philippines. The station's new studio is located at 46th floor of One Corporate Centre, Meralco Avenue corner Doña Julia Vargas Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City and the transmitter is located at Bocaue, Bulacan.

Station Profile

Initially known as KZAS, the station began its broadcast on June 4, 1948. KZAS eventually came to be known as 702 (read "Seven-O-Two") DZAS. For six decades now, 702 DZAS has been providing the Filipino household with news, music, information, and inspiration while sharing the Word of God. It is now one of the oldest radio stations still operating today.

702 DZAS experienced a cut in its broadcast hours in November 2003 due to its financial difficulties. In January 2004, the station resumed its regular broadcast hours.

At present, DZAS broadcasts from 4:45 a.m. to 12:00 m.n. (Mondays - Fridays), 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 m.n. (Saturdays), and from 5:30 a.m. to 12:00 m.n. during Sundays on the clear channel frequency of 702 AM band at 50,000 Watts.

In June 2012, DZFE, together with DZAS, moved to a new, modern office space located at the One Corporate Centre in Ortigas, Pasig to adjust to modern broadcast settings.
