The Deutschen Theaterpreises DER FAUST (THE FIST German Theater Price ), more commonly known informally as the DER FAUST Award in German DER FAUST preis, recognizes achievement in live German theatre is the national theatre award of Germany. The awards are presented and decided by the Deutsche Bühnenverein (DB) and supported by the Federal Chancellery and Representative for Cultural and Media Affairs at an annual ceremony in Berlin. The awards are given for German productions and performances.

The DER FAUST Awards are considered the highest Germany theatre honor, the Germany theatre industry's equivalent to the American Tony Award in live productions in the US, Molière Award in France or the Olivier Award for theatre in UK, the Academy Awards (Oscars) or the César Awards (The French Oscars) for motion pictures, the Grammy Awards or Victoires de la Musique for music.
