Cyclothone is a genus of bioluminescent bristlemouths commonly known as Minnows of the Deep, which typically grow to around 3 inches (though some species are known to be larger). They are most commonly found at depths exceeding 1000 feet.[1]
This genus contains more individuals than any other vertebrate genus.
