The Four-dotted Footman (Cybosia mesomella) is a moth of the family Arctiidae. It is found in the Palearctic ecozone.
The wingspan is 25–33 mm. The moth flies June to August depending on the location.
The caterpillars feed mainly after dark on low vegetation such as Heather, and are lichen and algae feeders like most other lithosiines.
