Curtis, Washington

The Curtis Store, photographed September 7, 2009.

Curtis is an unincorporated community in Washington.[1] Named by its first postmaster, Ben Curtis, for himself,[2] Curtis is about 6 miles south of Adna, Washington. Curtis has a general store with a post office, although as of November 2013, the store no longer appears to be in business.

On December 3, 2007, a mix of weather patterns caused a torrential flood in the Boistfort Valley, at the head of which is the town of Curtis.
