Cunjin Bridge Park

Cunjin Bridge Park is a park located in the prefecture-level city Zhanjiang, China. It was built in 1958 to commemorate resistance to the French occupation that began in 1898. Cunjin Bridge Park is named after Tang Dynasty general Li Cunjin, who died on the bridge while directing his troops in battle. It is one of the largest parks in Zhanjiang and a popular tourist destination.

Description

The park is made up of 513 acres, 113 of which are water. The Cunjin Bridge divides the park into two major halves. After years of continued development, Cunjin Park now includes gardens, a zoo, a dance hall, a cemetery, and boat rides.[1]
