Cuillin FM is a radio station which broadcasts to the Isle of Skye and Lochalsh on the Scottish mainland. Cuillin FM also link up with Two Lochs Radio in Gairloch for certain broadcasts, such as Balaich Nam Port, a weekly Scottish dance music programme on Saturday evening from 9 pm to 11 pm.

Programming

The station broadcasts live from their studio in Portree from 7.30 to 9 am then 3 pm to midnight Monday to Friday; 10 am to midnight on a Saturday and 9.00 am to 11 pm on Sunday. The rest of the time programmes are run by a sustaining service. The station has a duty to provide at least three hours of Gaelic programming per week.

Cuillin FM also has outside broadcasting facilities for charity, community event coverage such as The Highland Games, Piping Festivals, Battle of the Bands, agricultural shows and Youth Speaks.[1]

The morning service from PortreeFree Church is aired on Cuillin FM between 2 pm and 3 pm each Sunday.[2]

The Ancient One’s sister show is The Prog Mill on Stafford Radio, presented by Shaun Geraghty from the Broad Eye Windmill in Stafford.
