Cruciger is a fungal genus in the class Agaricomycetes. It has not yet been placed in any order or family. A monotypic genus, it contains the single anamorph species Cruciger lignatilis, found growing on rotting wood in Germany. The genus name refers to the cruciform (cross-shaped) conidia.[1]
