Crossroads II: Pandemonium was a shoot 'em up computer game from 1988 created by Steve Harter exclusively for the Commodore 64.
Summary
It was a follow up to the popular Crossroads game. Changes in the sequel include: twelve new monsters added to four of the original ones, two new 'power up' spars, and a pet dog who assists the player with beating each level. All the other game elements are the same aside from general updates like new mazes.[2]
Like Crossroads, Crossroads II was originally offered as hex formatted Commodore 64 machine code in COMPUTE!'s Gazette. A subscriber could type the hex into a program named MLX that would save the machine code as an executable, as well as verify the typed in data line by line.
Remake
A remake was released in 2014 in Adobe Flash and can be found here.
