Crevalcore is a town and comune in the Emilia-Romagna region near Bologna, Italy. On 10 March 1628, Marcello Malpighi, a doctor who taught medicine in the Papal Medical School and wrote a long treatise about his studies which he donated to the Royal Society of London, was born here.
