Crescentino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Vercelli in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northeast of Turin and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Vercelli. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,843 and an area of 48.3 square kilometres (18.6 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Crescentino contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Campagna, Cerrone, Monte, San Grisante, San Silvestro, San Genuario, Caravini, Porzioni, Santa Maria, Mezzi Po, Galli, Cascinotti, and Lignola.
Crescentino borders the following municipalities: Brusasco, Fontanetto Po, Lamporo, Livorno Ferraris, Moncestino, Saluggia, Verolengo, and Verrua Savoia.
