Crambus saltuellus, the Pasture Grass-veneer, is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Zeller in 1863.[1] It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from the north-eastern United States south to North Carolina. It is also present in southern Ontario.
The wingspan is about 22 mm.[2] The forewings with have a white stripe, bisected by a brownish-yellow strip. There are several double black lines, as well as a thin black terminal line. The hindwings are uniform pale brownish-yellow. Adults are on wing from May to September.
The larvae feed on various grasses.[3]
