Craft Potters Association
The Craft Potters Association was formed in 1958 to promote the work of its members and to increase public awareness of contemporary studio pottery.[1] It has two wholly owned operating companies: Craftsmen Potters Trading Company Ltd and Ceramic Review Publishing Ltd. There are three categories of membership of the Association; associate member, professional member and fellow. [2]
Potter Michael Casson was a founder member and chair from 1963 to 1966.[3] The current chair is potter Richard Phethean,[4] other notable chairs include David Leach in 1967,[5] Jane Hamlyn[6] and Phil Rogers from1994 to 1998.[7]
