The Kent County Cricket Ground (previously known as the Lloyd's TSB Sports and Social Club Ground and also occasionally known as the New County Ground)[2][3] is a cricket ground in Beckenham, England.
Although the ground was first used by the Kent 1st XI in 1954 – when it hosted a County Championship match against Gloucestershire – it has since only hosted one Championship match and two matches in the Pro40 and its predecessor the Sunday League, and has mainly been used for Twenty20 matches. It is in this competition that the ground usually hosts two games per season. In 2008, the two Twenty20 opponents will be Middlesex for the fourth consecutive year and Essex.
The ground has played host to three first-class matches, four List A matches and 11 Twenty20 matches.[4][5][6]
