Countdown to 3

Countdown to 3 was a TV special that broadcast on ABC1 to celebrate the opening of the ABC's 3rd channel, dedicated to children's programs, at 5:00 pm on Friday, 4 December 2009.

Description

• After a brief countdown from 10 to 4 and the logo over a stickered background, the "robot" identity (a green robot on Mars shaped like the number 3 waving) is seen.
• Dancers from Dance Academy dance to "This is Who I Am".
• Benjamin Crawley reports the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd is coming to the studio, however, he is at the beach. He then forgets where the remote to switch the network is.

• 10: Prank Patrol
  • The pranks are revealed along with the message "Do Not Try This At Home"
  • Mitchell from the episode "Mission: Superglove" is called up onto the stage. Scotty warns him not to clench his fist but he does anyway, causing cans of confetti to go off. The ninjas then put Mitchell back in his seat.
