Council Rock (Cooperstown, New York)
Council Rock is located near the beginnings of the Susquehanna River near the shore of Otsego Lake in Cooperstown, New York, USA. It is a large boulder whose top is above the water's surface and can be seen from shore. It is believed to have been a meeting place for Native Americans before their flight from the area following the American Revolutionary War.
