Corn snack

Corn snacks are the general term for snack foods made from corn (maize). Corn-based snacks come in several varieties:

Extruded

Extruded corn snacks come in "puffed" and "crunchy" varieties. They include:

• Cheese puffs and varieties (cheese curls, cheese balls, etc.)
• Puffcorn
• Seasoned "fries" such as Andy Capp's fries

Chips

• Corn chips
• Tortilla chips
• Rolled corn chips, such as Takis

Other

• Corn nuts
• Popcorn
