Corinaldo is a town and comune in the Province of Ancona, within the Marche region of central Italy. It is about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Assisi. As of 2005 it had a population of 5,187 inhabitants. It is noted for its well-preserved 14th-century walls, for being the birthplace of Saint Maria Goretti, and for a popular Halloween festival held every October.
