Cordua Bar, California

Cordua Bar (also, Cordua's Bar and Speck's Bar) is a former settlement in Yuba County, California. It was located on the north bank of the Yuba River northwest of Timbuctoo.[1]

The place was named after Theodore Cordua, local merchant.[1] Speck's Bar was a corruption of the name of Jonas Spect, discoverer of gold on the Yuba River.[1]
