Coonagh (Irish: Cuanach, meaning "winding, abounding in hollows") is an area, comprising the townlands of Coonagh East and Coonagh West, lying at the western edge of Limerick city in Ireland, near the border with County Clare. The area was transferred from County Limerick to the city in 2008.[1]

The Coonagh Aerodrome is home to the Limerick Flying Club.

Coonagh Cross Shopping Centre is a new shopping centre situated on the west bank of the River Shannon in the Shannon Airport and Ennis direction, when departing from Limerick centre. It recently opened its doors for the first time and at present the only shop open is the 24 Hour Tesco. The remainder of the shopping centre was due to open in the first quarter of 2008.
