Coolidge State Park

Coolidge State Park is a Vermont State Park located in Plymouth, Vermont.[1] The park is named after Calvin Coolidge, who was a Vermont native most of his life.

History

The park was created in the 1930s and its initial facilities built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. It includes the 21,500-acre (8,700 ha) Calvin Coolidge State Forest,[1] the largest state forest in Vermont. It is located near the village of Plymouth Notch, the birthplace of Calvin Coolidge.[1]

The park's CCC-built facilities are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
