Cook is an upcoming American drama film directed by Bruce Beresford.
Plot
Cook tells the story of a unique friendship that develops when a little girl, Charlotte, and her dying mother inherit a cook – Mr. Church. What begins as an arrangement that should only last six months, instead spans fifteen years.[1]

Production
Samuel L. Jackson was originally slated to star in the role of Henry Church, but had to pass due to scheduling conflicts. The film is based on writer, Susan McMartin, own real-life story.[2]
Filming
Filming started on November 24, 2014 in Los Angeles and wrapped up filming on January 12, 2015.[3]
