Constantine II of Imereti
Constantine II (Georgian: კონსტანტინე II) (died 1401) was a Georgian royal prince of the Bagrationi dynasty who served as the duke of Kingdom of Imereti.
Life
Constantine II was born in the second half of the 14th century. He was a younger son of King Bagrat I of Imereti by his wife, a daughter of Kvarkvare II Jaqeli, ruler of Meskheti. Nothing is known about his life before 1396. After the death of his second brother in a battle against Prince Vameq Dadiani, ruler of Mingrelia, he ruled Imereti for 5 years. In 1401, the ruler of Mingrelia Prince Mamia II declared him war where he died at the Battle of Chalaghan. He had no children and his nephew, Demetrius succeeded him as Duke of Imereti.
