Connor Niall Hughes is an English football player. He plays as a midfielder for Conference National side Hyde.
Career
Oldham Athletic
Hughes joined Oldham Athletic in May 2009 on a two-year scholarship.[3] After playing for the youth and reserves, he made his first-team debut as a substitute in a 3–2 defeat to Rochdale in League Two match on 17 March 2012. [4]
Hughes was released by the club at the end of the 2012–13 season, after mainly appearing for the reserve team and only managing to make a few substitute appearances for the first team during his time with the club.[5]
Hyde
On 31 May 2013, Hughes signed for Hyde on a one-year deal.[6] He made his debut for the club on 17 August 2013, coming on as a second-half substitute in Hyde's 2–2 draw with Hereford United.[7] He scored his first league goal for the club in their 5–2 home defeat to Wrexham on 28 December 2013.[8]
