After his final season at Dartmouth Goggin signed an amateur try-out contract with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League for the end of the 2011–12 season.[1] He played 12 games for the IceHogs picking up 2 assists during that time.

The Trenton Titans of the ECHL signed Goggin for the 2012–13 season on October 9, 2012.[2]
