Connecticut's 62nd assembly district
The Sixty-Second Connecticut House of Representatives district elects one member of the Connecticut House of Representatives. Its current representative is Democrat Bill Simanski, who defeated one-term Representative Maryanne "Annie" Hornish in the 2010 election. The district consists of the towns of Granby, New Hartford, the eastern part of the town of Barkhamsted and the majority of East Granby, Connecticut. Before 2002, the entire town of Barkhamsted was part of the district.
