Conference of Catholic Bishops of India or officially as Conference of Catholic Bishops of India – Latin Rite (CCBI-LR) is the Episcopal Conference of the Bishops of the Latin Rite Catholic Church in India, functioning in accordance with canon 447. There are 131 Latin Catholic Dioceses and 181 Bishops are the members of the CCBI. This the largest Bishops Conference in Asia and the fourth largest in the world.
Its current president is Cardinal Oswald Gracias, elected on 08 February 2015 for a two years term.[1][2]
