The Conception Bay North Cee Bee Stars are a senior ice hockey team based in Harbour Grace, Newfoundland and Labrador as part of the Newfoundland Senior Hockey League. They are four-time winners of the Herder Memorial Trophy as provincial champions.
History
The Cee Bee Stars are four-time winners of the Herder Memorial Trophy, the holy grail of Newfoundland senior hockey. For years members of the Avalon East Senior Hockey League, the Cee Bee Stars jumped at the opportunity to play in the island-wide Newfoundland Senior Hockey League in 2011.
The Cee Bee Stars defeated the defending Herder Trophy champion and 2011 Allan Cup champion Clarenville Caribous in four-straight-games. The victory gives the Cee Bee Stars the right to play in the 2014 Allan Cup in Dundas, Ontario if they so choose.
