Conan (band)
Conan is a doom metal band from Liverpool, England known for their heavily distorted and downtuned sound.[1]
History
Conan was founded as a two piece by guitarist/singer Jon Davis in 2006. The band is currently a three piece consisting of Jon Davis on guitar and vocals, Chris Fielding on bass, and Rich Lewis on drums.[2] Until recently, Paul O'Neil was the drummer, having performed on both of the band's full length albums. In 2014, O'Neil was replaced by Rich Lewis.[3] On March 31, 2015, the band announced that they would be headlining a US tour with support Samothrace and Mantar. The tour currently consists of 11 dates, including Psycho California and Maryland Deathfest.[4]
