Common Image Generator Interface
Common Image Generator Interface (CIGI) is an interface designed to promote a standard way for a host device to communicate with an image generator (IG) in the simulation industry. Bohemia Interactive Simulations, maker of the Virtual Battlespace series, announced in September 2014 that the company developing a CIGI-based image generator.[1] In a news release, the company said it was updating the U.S. Army's legacy image generator to a "high fidelity, game-based image generation solution for its Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT) system.[2]"
Unigine has support for CIGI.[3]
