Columbus Hotel Monaco is a luxury 4-star hotel located at 23, avenue des Papalins in the Fontvieille area of western Monaco. It used to be owned by the former Formula One racing car driver David Coulthard and Ken McCulloch [1] [2] until Coulthard sold out to London and Regional in May 2010. The hotel was opened on April 21, 2001 by Rainier III, Prince of Monaco.
The interior to the hotel was designed by international designer Amanda Rosa[3] in the Italian Riviera style with light colour palettes and natural furnishings of leather, marble, wood and stone.[4][5]The hotel has 174 rooms and 18 suites and several restaurants.[5]
The hotel and Coulthard featured in an episode of Piers Morgan's travelogue series Piers Morgan on... looking at Monaco.
