The College Park Spyders are a basketball team in the American Basketball Association based in College Park, Georgia and set to begin play in 2009-10. The team is owned by Duane Hughes (better known as old-school rapper Spyder-D), who will also serve as the team's general manager and head coach.
On January 27, 2009, the Spyders had announced that they were signing AND1 Mixtape Tour streetball player Phillip "Hot Sauce" Champion as their first player.[1]
