The Brown Arborvitae Leafminer or Brown Cedar Leafminer (Coleotechnites thujaella) is a moth of the Gelechiidae family. It is found in the north-eastern parts of the United States, as well as Canada.
There is one generation per year.
The larvae feed on Thuja occidentalis. The entire larval stage is spend in a mine that turns dark brown after the inner tissue has been removed. After feeding is completed, it forms a brown pupa within the mine.
