The Yucatán Banded Gecko (Coleonyx elegans) is a species of gecko found in Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize.[1] It is a common inhabitant of forested and open habitats throughout Yucatan peninsula. Terrestrial and largely nocturnal, although abroad during day. Feeds on invertebrates, including spiders, crickets and beetles.
