Cole Desmond Kpekawa (born 20 May 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Queens Park Rangers.
Club career
Queens Park Rangers
Having joined Queens Park Rangers academy, Kpekawa featured in the Under-18 and Under-21 level.[2] In April 2014, Kpekawa signed his first professional contract on a one-year contract.[3]
Colchester United (loan)
Kpekawa joined League One side Colchester United on loan in November 2014 from Queens Park Rangers.[4] He made his Football League debut against Coventry City at the Colchester Community Stadium in a 0–1 League One defeat on 22 November 2014.[5] After making four appearances at Colchester United, Kpekawa's loan spell with the club was extended until 24 January 2015.[6]
Portsmouth (loan)
On 19 March 2015 Kpekawa was loaned to Portsmouth until the end of the season.[7] He made his debut on 21 March 2015 in a 1-0 defeat against AFC Wimbledon where he played the whole 90 minutes.[8] On 20 April 2015 Kpekawa was recalled from his loan at Portsmouth by QPR, he made a total of two appearances.[9]
