"Cola Song" is a song recorded by Romanian dance/pop singer Inna, featuring the Colombian singer-songwriter J Balvin. The music video was directed by John Perez and premiered alongside the song on April 14, 2014. It presents a typical summer song with latino dancefloor sounds and a saxophone-based instrumental from her collaboration with Andreas Schuller in the song "Piñata 2014". The song was certified Platinum by the Spanish PROMUSICAE for sales over 20,000 shipments. Her first live performances, where she performed the song were in Hollywood and Mexico City. The song was a commercial success in more European countries like Romania, Germany or Spain. "Cola Song" will be the on the soundtrack of 2015-Hollywood comedy Spy[1]

And I’m also glad that I worked with J Balvin on this song, I appreciate him a lot. He is very talented, hard-working artist, I was listening to his music everywhere I was travelling in my Latin America tours and when I heard “Cola Song”, I knew this would be the perfect opportunity to work with J Balvin.[2]

Music video

The video was shot both in Barcelona and Costa Rica, on the beach. The video was directed by John Perez, who has previously worked with Shakira, Rihanna, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys. They also worked together for her previous videos (“Caliente”, “In Your Eyes”, “WOW”). A first teaser of the music video was released on April, 10. The video premiered on YouTube officially on April, 15 after it was leaked unofficially on April, 15.
