A beach in Cocody
Cocody, is an upmarket suburb of Abidjan, marked by its abundance of mansions. Cocody is where most of the wealthy business people, ambassadors, and other affluent people live. The Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny is located in Cocody.
Additionally, a native food of Côte d'Ivoire, the alloco, can be purchased here at the allocodrome de Cocody.

In 1965 a film was released entitled Man from Cocody.
